Key Responsibilities
Lead job costing and project cost tracking across active operationsAnalyze margins, labor, materials, equipment usage, and project profitabilityImprove reporting cadence from weekly toward daily operational visibilityOwn Work in Progress (WIP) schedules and Percentage of Completion (POC) reportingPartner with field leaders to ensure accurate production and cost inputsReconcile operational data to financial statements and monthly closeDevelop and refine SOPs, controls, and reporting processesAssist leadership with budgeting, forecasting, and KPI developmentSupport ERP optimization and data integrity initiativesProvide actionable insights to operations and executive leadership teams
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Construction xqrzhdi Management, or related field5+ years of accounting, cost accounting, or project accounting experienceBackground in construction, asphalt, paving, aggregates, manufacturing, or similar industries preferredExperience with WIP and Percentage of Completion accounting strongly preferredERP experience required; Viewpoint Vista Construction experience highly preferredExposure to DOT / infrastructure projects is a plusStrong Excel and analytical skillsAbility to communicate effectively with both field personnel and executive leadershipSelf-starter mentality with desire to build and improve processes
