Purple DriveWe are looking for a Telecom Expense Analyst with strong expertise in telecom billing, assurance, and expense management.The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing telecom inventory, validating billing accuracy, optimizing telecom costs, and driving platform consolidation initiatives across the enterprise.Key ResponsibilitiesTelecom Billing & Expense ManagementAnalyze and validate telecom billing data across services such as DIA, Broadband, MPLS, and other data circuitsPerform billing audits, verification, and charge-back analysis to ensure cost accuracyIdentify cost-saving opportunities and support telecom expense optimization initiativesEnsure compliance with contracts, SLAs, and telecom vendor agreementsInventory & Platform ManagementMaintain and consolidate telecom inventory and billing platforms into a unified systemWork with tools like Calero (Telecom Expense Management platform)Drive TEM platform integration, migration, and reporting standardizationPublish accurate metrics and dashboards for management reportingReporting & ForecastingDevelop and maintain reports, KPIs, and dashboards related to telecom spendForecast monthly and quarterly telecom run ratesProvide insights into usage trends, cost drivers, and optimization opportunitiesVendor & Stakeholder ManagementCollaborate with telecom carriers, IT teams, finance, and accounts payableManage and monitor vendor SLAs, contracts, and performance metricsParticipate in RFP processes, vendor evaluations, and contract negotiationsSupport Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with vendorsProcess Improvement & OperationsDevelop processes for ordering, provisioning, and disconnecting telecom servicesStreamline telecom operations and improve billing lifecycle processesSupport audit, compliance, and regulatory requirementsLead or support large-scale telecom transformation projectsRequired Skills & Experience6–8 years of experience in Telecom Expense Management / Telecom Billing / ITSMStrong knowledge of telecom billing and assurance processes, telecom inventory management, data circuits (DIA, MPLS, Broadband)Hands-on experience with TEM tools (e.g., Calero or similar platforms)Experience in billing audits, cost optimization, and financial analysisStrong understanding of SLAs, contracts, and vendor managementProficiency in data analysis, reporting, and dashboardingPreferred SkillsExperience with telecom platform consolidation and migrationKnowledge of ITSM processes and toolsFamiliarity with regulatory compliance (BSA, AML, OFAC)Experience in project management and process improvement initiatives
