Job description
1st Shift Stacker / Machine Operator (Temporary/Contract)Pay: $16.00/hour Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:30 PM Classification: Temporary/ContractWe are looking for hardworking and dependable individuals to join our team as a Stacker / Machine Operator. This hands-on position involves working with large steel products in a manufacturing environment and offers on-the-job training for motivated candidates.Key Responsibilities:Stack large steel pieces coming off production machinesWork alongside team members to safely handle and move materialsLearn and perform banding procedures to secure finished productsFollow production procedures and safety guidelinesAssist with general production and material handling duties as neededQualifications:Strong work ethic and reliable attendanceAbility to work effectively in a team environmentWillingness to learn and be trained on production processesComfortable working in an industrial manufacturing settingRequired Safety Equipment:Ankle-high steel-toe work boots are requiredHard hat (provided by client)Long-sleeve shirts required for protection while handling steel materialsImportant: Candidates will be sent home if proper steel-toe footwear is not worn.Physical Requirements:Ability to work on your feet throughout the shiftAbility to handle and move large steel materials safelyComfortable performing repetitive physical tasks in a production environmentWhy Join This Team?Steady first-shift scheduleHands-on manufacturing experienceOn-the-job training availableOpportunity to develop skills in machine operation and material handlingIf you're dependable, safety-conscious, and ready to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, apply today!
