Job description
Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospitalist – Maternity Centers, Northeastern Ohio
Full‑time position in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cleveland Clinic.
Key Responsibilities
Provide hospital‑based obstetrical and gynecologic care; support the full scope of care.
Assist with perinatal safety at each maternity center.
Balance clinical and academic duties, including supervision of OB/GYN residents and medical students.
Work shifts of 12 to 24 hours in duration.
Collaborate with laborists, OB/GYN hospitalists, on‑call specialists, MFM specialists, nurse midwives, advanced practice providers, residents, and medical students.
Receive OB/GYN subspecialty support for each unit.
Qualifications
Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Clinical experience supporting hospital‑based obstetrical and gynecologic care.
Experience working in a teaching hospital environment (preferred).
Other Information
Faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience available at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.
Cleveland Clinic has three maternity centers: CC Fairview Hospital (west side), CC Hillcrest Hospital (east side), and CC Main Campus Hospital; delivery volume ranges from 200 to 5,400 annually.
Salary Range
Minimum salary: $261,250
Maximum salary: $359,750
