Our organization is on the lookout for skilled anesthesiologists to deliver anesthesia services at our facilities in New Castle, PA, and Farrell, PA. Candidates should be board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology and must hold or be eligible for an unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania.
Key Highlights
Position Type: General Anesthesiology
Work Schedule: Daytime coverage Monday to Friday, from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM
On-Call Requirements: In-house from 5 PM to 7:30 AM; beeper call from 3:30 PM to 6:30 AM
CRNA Supervision: Target concurrency of 2.75:1
Team Composition: 10 anesthesiologists and 26 CRNAs
Academic Appointment: Available
New Competitive Compensation Structure: Higher base salary with additional premiums (details available upon inquiry)

About Our Facilities
Our facility in Farrell, PA, offers a variety of medical services and specialties, catering to both inpatient and outpatient needs for residents in Mercer and Lawrence counties. It serves as a regional hub for women's health, providing surgical and cancer care through our affiliated cancer center.
UPMC Jameson, located in New Castle, PA, acts as the acute care center for the surrounding region. Together with UPMC Horizon, it provides a comprehensive approach to healthcare, including inpatient services, surgical care, diagnostic imaging, emergency services, senior care, rehabilitation, and various specialized health services. The hospital is licensed for 146 beds and employs over 300 physicians and nearly 800 staff members.
UPMC Jameson is recognized by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP) as a Comprehensive Center and has received accreditation from Corazon, Inc. for its Heart and Vascular Institute.
