Job description
If you're looking for a practice where you'll be supported, challenged, and genuinely enjoy coming to work each day, we'd love to meet you.
Altitude Veterinary Hospital is growing, and we're looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our close knit team. With two locations in Casper and five collaborative doctors, we've built a practice where teamwork comes first, great medicine is the standard, and everyone is encouraged to continue learning. We care for a wide variety of patients, including dogs, cats, exotics, and pocket pets, so no two days are ever the same.
Whether you're a new graduate looking for strong mentorship or an experienced veterinarian ready for a fresh opportunity, you'll find a team that enjoys sharing knowledge, tackling challenging cases together, and celebrating each other's successes.
Why You'll Love Practicing Here
Our hospitals are equipped to offer advanced services that allow our doctors to practice high-quality medicine, including:
TPLO and advanced orthopedic surgery
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy
Cold Laser Therapy
Acupuncture
Care for exotics and pocket pets
A collaborative environment where doctors truly support one another
We also share emergency call responsibilities among our doctors, with emergency cases making up approximately 20% of our caseload, creating opportunities to build your skills while maintaining a balanced schedule.
A Schedule That Gives You Time to Enjoy Life
Our full-time veterinarians work four 10-hour days each week with rotating Saturdays, giving you plenty of time to recharge and enjoy everything Wyoming has to offer.
Live Where Adventure Never Ends
Casper offers the best of both worlds: a welcoming community with incredible access to the outdoors. Spend your days off fly fishing, hiking, skiing, mountain biking, camping, or hunting, all just minutes from town. When you're ready to slow things down, you'll find local breweries, great restaurants, live music, museums, and community events that make Casper an amazing place to call home.
Benefits That Support You
We believe great veterinarians deserve great benefits, including:
Competitive compensation
Medical, dental, and vision insurance
401(k) with employer match
Continuing education allowance
Paid professional dues and liability coverage
Paid vacation and holidays
Employee Assistance Program
And a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your career and your life outside the hospital
