Journeyman Carpenter PositionTen Mile Construction is seeking a Journeyman Carpenter who will organize various operations with wooden structures such as demo, framing, siding, and deck work in strict accordance with specifications. Your duties will include producing steady and functional infrastructure and products.You should possess great hand dexterity and an eye for detail, being able to work with little supervision and follow all health and safety standards. We are a family oriented company that provides a fair work-life balance.Carpenter Responsibilities Are:Install floorings, roofings or drywalls ensuring they are leveled and compatibleUse blueprints, drawings, and sketches and follow the requirementReview places and conduct repairs or maintenanceInstall scaffolding and other construction structuresCalculate the size and amount of material needed after performing all necessary measurementsCut, shape, smooth lumber and other materials according to measurementsCreate window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials on pre-constructed itemsCarpenter Requirements Are:4+ years of experience of working in a Carpenter positionSignificant experience in working with carpentry materials and using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools(such as saws, nailers, lasers)In-depth knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and constructionProper knowledge on basic math testGood physical condition and enduranceHigh school diploma or equivalentBasic hand toolsDrivers licenseOwn transportationSome excavator experience a plusCompensation and Employment Benefits:Compensation DOEMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceRetirement IRA 3% MatchingPaid Holidays(6)Paid Time off(5)Safety equipment providedWork ScheduleHere at Ten Mile Construction we work a standard schedule of M-F 8am-4:30pmEqual Employment OpportunityTen Mile Construction is an equal-opportunity employer and we embrace diversity.
