Journeyman Electrician (Commercial Service)Greater Cincinnati, OH / Northern KentuckyDay Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) Up to 50% travel (overnight travel required)Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and dependable Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team serving the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region. This role focuses primarily on commercial service work, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed professional looking for steady daytime hours, strong benefits, and the chance to work with a well-supported service team.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform commercial electrical service, maintenance, and repair workDiagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in commercial environmentsInstall, maintain, and repair electrical systems and componentsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawingsEnsure all work complies with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulationsCommunicate effectively with customers, team members, and managementParticipate in an on-call rotation for after-hours service needsRequirementsActive Journeyman Electrician License in Kentucky (required)Minimum of 4 years of electrical experienceAbility to travel up to 50%, including overnight staysAbility to meet the physical demands of the trade (lifting, climbing, standing, etc.)Valid driver's license and clean driving recordPreferred QualificationsOSHA 30 certificationExperience with thermal imaging and infrared (IR) diagnosticsOhio Fire Alarm LicenseIEC (Independent Electrical Contractors) training or apprenticeship completionCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive pay based on experienceCompany-provided vehicleFull benefits package (medical, dental, vision, etc.)Paid per diem for overnight travelOn-call rotation with additional daily stipendOvertime pay for after-hours service callsWhy Join Us?Consistent day shift schedule with work-life balanceDiverse commercial service work—no two days are the sameSupportive team environment with opportunities for growthWell-equipped service technicians with the tools and support needed to succeed
