Journeyman Electrician / Facilities Maintenance TechnicianFarmington Country Club - Charlottesville, VA 22901Salary Range $35.00 - $45.00 Hourly Position Type Full TimePosition SummaryFarmington Country Club is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician / Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities Maintenance team. The successful candidate must have experience working on electrical systems ranging from 480-volt distribution equipment down to 12-volt low-voltage systems. While this position will assist with a variety of facility maintenance activities as directed, the majority of the work is expected to be electrical in nature.Primary ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems from 480V through 12V low-voltage applicationsPerform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and building systemsTroubleshoot motors, lighting systems, controls, panels, and kitchen equipmentMaintain compliance with applicable electrical codes and safety standardsDocument work performed and communicate project statusAdditional DutiesAssist with plumbing repairs and maintenance as directed.Perform mechanical and HVAC-related maintenance tasks.Support preventative maintenance activities throughout the property.Participate in facility improvement projects and general maintenance work.Perform other duties as assigned by management.QualificationsJourneyman Electrician certificationVerifiable experienceExperience with electrical systems from 480V down to 12V low-voltage systemsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExperience with plumbing, mechanical systems, and facilities maintenance preferred
