Position Summary
The (USA) Journeyman Electrician, Facility Services, is responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities and equipment. This role involves diagnosing electrical issues, conducting inspections, and executing repairs using multiple craft skills while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. The position requires managing work orders, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining accurate documentation. The Journeyman Electrician supports business-critical needs through timely responses and collaboration with management and team members to uphold quality and compliance across all facility operations.

What you'll do
Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures to ensure safety and functionality.
Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot electrical issues using blueprints, manuals, and appropriate tools.
Document maintenance activities, repair needs, and replacement recommendations accurately.
Respond promptly to emergency calls and support issue resolution or escalation as needed.
Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and coordinate with contractors to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Operate and maintain vehicles and powered equipment following safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and maintain a safe work environment.
What you'll bring
Proven experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs on facilities, equipment, and fixtures.
Ability to diagnose issues using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment safely and effectively.
Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations to ensure compliance and maintain a safe work environment.
Strong organizational skills to manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and documentation accurately.
Capability to respond promptly to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotations.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with managers, coworkers, and contractors.

The hourly wage range for this position is $40.00 - $76.00**The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
Minimum Qualifications
2 years’ experience in the electrical trade.
Licensed Journeyman Electrician or equivalent in state of work.
Valid state-issued driver’s license.
License in related trade in city and/or state of work.
Preferred Qualifications
Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical trade program, Experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
