The Journeyman Electrician supports emergency response efforts and participates in on-call rotations to address critical facility needs promptly, contributing to the overall operational excellence of Walmart's facilities.Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures to ensure safety and functionality.Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot electrical issues using blueprints, manuals, and appropriate tools.Document maintenance activities, repair work, and equipment conditions accurately.Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and coordinate with contractors to meet quality and safety standards.Respond promptly to emergency calls and support issue resolution during on-call rotations.Operate and maintain vehicles and powered equipment in compliance with safety regulations.Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, and company policies while maintaining a safe work environment.What You'll Bring...Proven experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and facility equipment.Ability to interpret blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs to diagnose and resolve issues.Skilled in using hand and power tools, hoists, and material handling equipment safely and effectively.Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations to ensure compliance and maintain a safe work environment.Strong documentation skills for maintenance activities, work orders, and warranty claims.Capability to manage maintenance schedules, coordinate contractors, and track parts and expenses.Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to emergency maintenance needs.At Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet. The hourly wage range for this position is $36.00 - $69.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
