Commercial Journeyman ElectricianNEXT Electric, LLC is seeking a full-time Commercial Journeyman Electrician in Madison, Wisconsin. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or work authorization support. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.Job Summary: Performs variety of electrical work in support of customer project specifications. Supervises and trains other electrical workers. Plans layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.Qualifications:6 or more years recent electrical experienceCurrent Wisconsin journeyman or master electrician licenseKnowledge of NEC and Electrical TheoryExperience reading construction drawings and blueprintsOSHA 30 or ability to obtain 70E NFP Certification or related awareness training preferred, not requiredCommercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred, not requiredSuccessfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, drug test, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.Company Overview: NEXT Electric, LLC, a partially-owned subsidiary of IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical a subsidiary of IES Holdings, Inc.
