Electrical JourneymanLocation: Wyoming, MIJob Type: OnsiteReports to: Facility ManagerDepartment: North American OperationsPosition Purpose: Plan, lay-out, install, test and repair all types of electrical systems in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes and industry standards.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec.Works safely at all times.Install and inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical hardware (LV up to 1000VAC, and control voltage 24VAC/DC)Diagnoses and fix electrical problems while complying with electrical codes, standards and regulations (LV up to 1000VAC, and control voltage 24VAC/DC)Installs conduits and pipes ensuring piping complies with all electrical and safety codesRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specificationsKeeping detailed records of work performedParticipate in broad range of industrial construction projects and must be able to communicate with clients, customers, and construction teamWorks safely and professionally.Arrive on the job, ready to work every day according to the work plan and schedule.Adhering to and supporting all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively.All other duties as assigned by Leadec manager.Competencies:Managing TasksOpen CommunicationSelf-ManagementKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Communication Skills - Ability to communicate with all levels of Leadec and customer employees.Language Ability -- Talking to others to convey information effectively.Customer Service Orientation - Satisfying customers.Adaptability - Willingness to deal with unexpected challenges or circumstances.Problem Solving - Defining problems and bring about viable solutions.Ability to provide rapid response to emergency breakdowns on highly automated assembly line.Perform quick analysis and repair both mechanical and electrical issues on equipment.Work from mechanical and / or electrical schematic, sketches, manuals, specifications, written or oral instructions.Capability to assist in the training of others on necessary skills to perform assignments.Position Qualifications:Must possess valid Journeyman Electrician CardMinimum of 3 years' verifiable experience in electrical trade in industrial/manufacturing environmentThorough knowledge of electrical blueprints, specifications and codesThorough knowledge of other major craft blueprintsThorough knowledge of all electrical systemsAbility to schedule projects and meet deadlinesPhysical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the key actions of the job:Required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is high). Frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for 4 -12 hours. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; climb or balance; kneel, crawl, stoop, or crouch.Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and focus adjustment.Work is performed in an office/industrial-manufacturing environment with occasional time spent working on a computer or at a desk.
