Role Description This is a full-time, new construction on-site Journeyman Plumber role located in Paso Robles, CA, requiring both office and field work. The role includes understanding plumbing installations, drawings, diagnostics, maintenance, on both residential and commercial systems. In the field, the Journeyman Plumber will lead crews, assign tasks, ensure compliance with codes and safety standards, and provide technical guidance and training to newer team members. In the office, responsibilities include reviewing work orders, planning jobs, coordinating schedules, communicating with customers, documenting completed work, and supporting project estimates. The role requires strong leadership, multitasking, problem-solving, and customer service skills, with an ability to represent the company professionally on job sites and in the office.
Qualifications
Strong plumbing skills, including installation, diagnostics, and code-compliant repair of residential and commercial systems.
Hands-on experience with pipe systems, including fitting, layout, and safe use of tools and equipment.
Maintenance and repair capabilities, with the ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
Commitment to excellent customer service, with clear communication and a professional, respectful approach to clients and team members.
Journeyman-level licensing or equivalent experience, with knowledge of local and state plumbing codes and safety regulations.
Demonstrated leadership and management skills, including crew supervision, mentoring, and coordination of multiple jobs.
Ability to work on-site in varying conditions, lift and move equipment as needed, and follow all safety protocols.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; ability to use basic office software for scheduling and documentation is beneficial.
