Our ideal candidate is innovative, relational, and honest. If you live for those "aha!" moments, you thrive in team settings, and you hold yourself to a high standard of work and ethics – we have a feeling you'll like it here.

Your Responsibilities

Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic problems on heavy equipment, trucks, and light-duty vehicles using diagnostic software, scan tools, multimeters, and pressure gauges.

Perform routine and preventive maintenance (engine, hydraulic, coolant, transmission, and differential services) on a range of equipment, both in the field and in the shop.

Take apart components to reach and remove defective parts, and check parts for wear, imperfections, and dimensional changes.

Repair or replace defective parts, and install special functional and structural parts.

Adjust functional parts and control instruments to manufacturer specifications.

Perform brake, suspension, steering, and tire service.

Lubricate and grease equipment as needed.

Set up and operate a welder, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.

Test repairs to confirm the equipment works before returning it to service.

Travel to job sites and customer locations across Washington to perform field repairs.

Respond to emergency breakdown calls to reduce downtime, including on-call.

Operate, inspect, and maintain the assigned service truck and its equipment (crane, compressor, generator, welder), and keep it stocked with parts, fluids, and tools.

Follow all company safety policies, OSHA and WA L&I/DOSH requirements, and job-site safety rules, including lockout/tagout and PPE.

Handle, store, and dispose of used fluids, filters, and hazardous materials according to environmental and SDS guidelines.

Reorder parts from local vendors as needed and keep parts inventory current.

Complete repair orders for all finished work, listing labor hours and every part used, and keep accurate service records.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
