Journeyman Pipe Fitter (Environmental / Industrial Piping)Pay: $ 35 - $45 /hour Location: Concord, CASkillforce is hiring an experienced Pipefitter who knows how to handle complex piping installs in the field and can take ownership of their work without needing constant direction. This role is a great fit for someone with a background in environmental remediation or industrial construction, especially with experience in groundwater treatment, chemical systems, or underground conveyance piping. Schedule is Monday through Friday, averaging 45 to 50 hours per week.What You'll Be Doing:Fabricating and installing PVC, CPVC, and HDPE piping systemsWorking on groundwater treatment systems, well headers, and chemical feed linesReading and executing from P&IDs, civil drawings, and project specsPerforming field layout using laser levels to establish grade, inverts, and alignmentCoordinating with operators on trench depth, bedding, and installation readinessInstalling valves, fittings, flanges, unions, and mechanical connectionsSupporting both underground and above-grade piping installs (skids, tanks, manifolds)Pressure testing and assisting with system startup and commissioningWhat We're Looking For:5+ years of pipe fitting experience, ideally in environmental or industrial workStrong experience with PVC, CPVC, and HDPE systemsAbility to read P&IDs, plans, and specs and translate them into field workExperience with layout, grading, and trench coordinationSolid understanding of safety and jobsite expectationsCertifications: HAZWOPER (preferred, can be provided if needed) OSHA 10 or 30 (training available if needed) Confined Space Entry (a plus)Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance
