Journeyman PlumberKilgore Industries, one of the largest Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing subcontractors in the state of Texas is adding to the best team in the industry! We are seeking experienced Journeyman Plumbers who are looking to grow. The Journeyman is responsible for installing and maintaining plumbing systems and their associated components, and properly planning and laying out project work while completing projects in a safe and timely manner.Primary DutiesInstall, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and equipmentRead and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systemsInspect plumbing systems and equipment to identify and diagnose problemsCollaborate with other construction professionals, such as electricians and HVAC technicians, to ensure that plumbing systems are installed correctlyCommunicate with clients to understand their plumbing needs and provide solutionsEnsure that all work is completed in compliance with local and state plumbing codesKeep accurate records of all work performed and materials usedQualifications and ExperiencePrior relevant experience installing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining commercial and / or industrial plumbing systems and their associated componentsKnowledge of plumbing systems and equipmentExcellent problem-solving skillsStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamLicensesCurrent valid Journeyman Plumber LicenseOSHA 10 or ability to complete it within 60 daysWe OfferCompetitive payPaid holidays and paid time offPaid travel and per diem for out-of-area workWeekly direct deposited paychecks401K planHealth benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life/ AD&D, STD, LTD, and supplemental life insurance All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
