Come join us, and find out what the best work of your career could look like for you.ResponsibilitiesThe Plumber should have a Journeyman's license and will perform all aspects of commercial service plumbing and gasfitting, backflow testing and repair. Install, troubleshoot, service and repair plumbing systems in office buildings, and other commercial establishments as assigned. Hours Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (overtime as needed) Salary $37-$43.Conduct inspections of plumbing systems as requiredProvide direction and support to sub-contractors designated to perform repair of equipment and/or hardwareInterface with building managers and other customer representatives in order to ensure client satisfactionAccurately document work performed on trouble tickets or work ordersPlace and/or remove systems, hardware and equipment as requiredPurchase materials and supplies, and maintain inventory as required for timely work completionPerform other related duties as assignedInstalling and repairing water supply systemsInstalling and maintaining drainage systemsReading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawingsPipe fitting, cutting, bending, and joiningKnowledge of plumbing codes and regulationsDiagnosing plumbing problems and leaksInstalling fixtures such as sinks, toilets, showers, and water heatersWorking with different pipe materials (copper, PVC, PEX, steel, etc.)Testing plumbing systems for safety and performanceBasic knowledge of heating and gas systems (where applicable)QualificationsEducation Requirements with one of the followingHigh School diploma or equivalentLicense RequirementState License Journeyman in PlumbingBig Plus - WSSC certifiedBackflow Certification is a RequirementValid driver's license with reliable transportationExperience and Physical ExpectationsMinimum of five (5) years of plumbing experience within a service roleAble to lift to sixty (60) poundsCapable of ascending ladders up to a height of thirty (30) feetEOE/Disabilities/Veterans IND123
