Job description
Plumbing TechnicianHai Plumbing is a small family-owned business in the Sioux Falls area that is looking to expand! If you have a desire to work for a small growing company - come grow with us!Responsibilities:Install new plumbing and drainage systems to ensure newly installed components properly functionUnderstand and follow blueprints or building plansDiagnose and correct issues pertaining to all plumbing systems, including but not limited to locating leaks, tears, blockages, corrosion & weather damageUtilize problem solving and decision-making skills and suggest services to clientsPerforming maintenance of plumbing systems to prevent emergenciesResponding to plumbing emergencies, determining the issue and making repairsMaintain a professional courteous manner with all clients, contractors, and fellow employeesOther duties as assignedPosition Requirements:Knowledge and understanding of pipes, fittings, and all manner of plumbing fixturesAttended technical or trade school for plumbing certificationCurrent Journeyman State and City license requiredMinimum of 4 years' plumbing experience (new construction preferred)Candidate must have a clean driving record and a valid driver's licenseReliable transportation a mustAbility to follow instructions, work independently, and work with a teamFollow current rules and regulations related to plumbing to ensure that systems pass inspection and comply with all company, local, City, State, and Federal guidelines.Job Type: Full-time Salary: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off 401K paid holidays $ towards health insurance
