We are seeking an enthusiastic, growth minded individual to be our Journeyman Roofer in the Service Department of our Spokane Valley Office.As a Roofer at Jimmy's you will be responsible for assisting the team throughout the job process including starting the project or finishing the project within the Foreman's guidelines. You are a growing and developing employee that will be given specific duties to complete. As part of the team you will need to consider the following:Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma, AA Degree or equivalent knowledge and experiencePrevious roofing experience/repair strongly preferred but not requiredPhysical ability to lift and maneuver heavy weighted objectsCurrent Driver's License with no restrictionsValid email address and working cell phoneSuccessfully pass drug screen and background checkEssential Functions:Ensure the safety of your crew as well as the safety of the customer, their employees, and clientsMaintain the protection of the customer's building and property Make sure it's "Always watertight at night"Ensure quality of product and applicationMaintain and ensure efficiency of all equipment used at jobsiteSecure company materials and assets (Equipment, Tools, Trucks, etc.) at jobsiteEnsure finished product has a safe and high level of quality upon completionParticipate in site safety through OSHA and L&I complianceProper installation of all new roofing systems exactly as specifiedMaintain good customer relationsAbility to participate in the production and quality of workmanshipAbility to take direction and delegation from team leaderMaintain company issued equipment in good operational orderPhysical Requirements:Job functions require the ability to sit, stand, climb, walk, grasp, reach, stoop/crouch, and crawlAbility to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 80 lbsAbility to exchange information through listening and talking with other individualsEquipment/Tools Utilized:Regular use of machinery, ladder, hand tools, transportation equipment, office equipment, etc.Workplace Environmental Conditions:Moderate to loud noises in work environment.
