Journeyman Wireman – Lead Industrial Controls & Rigid Conduit ProjectsCompany: JMS Electrical & Mechanical Services LLCSalary/Pay Rate: $38 - $48 per hour (based on experience)Location: Baltimore, MDJob/Employment Type: Full TimeProject Scope: Residential, Commercial, and Industrial ElectricalMandatory Licenses & Certifications: Journeyman Wireman, Journeyman License, or Master Electrician and Drivers LicenseThe OpportunityYou will step into a key technical role executing high-level industrial electrical, rigid conduit, and control system installations. Working directly alongside our leadership, your expertise will directly drive project success in a supportive, family-like environment. You will have the direct backing of owners who actively help you solve complex field challenges. The main office is in Goldsboro, MD.How You Will Make an ImpactExecute complex rigid conduit runs and hazardous location wiring according to strict safety standards.Install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial control systems across diverse job sites.Interpret intricate blueprints and schematic diagrams to ensure accurate system installations.Collaborate directly with company owners to solve technical challenges on the job site.Maintain strict adherence to hazardous location safety procedures and industry protocols.Deliver high-quality craftsmanship across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.Required Qualifications & ExperienceActive Journeyman Wireman, Journeyman, or Master Electrician license.Reliable TransportationDeep knowledge and hands-on experience with rigid conduit work and hazardous location wiring.Knowledge in industrial control systems and troubleshooting.Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and technical schematics.Uncompromising commitment to job site safety protocols and hazardous location requirements.Ability and willingness to travel 100% within the operational region.Preferred Qualifications & Experience3+ years of related work experience in industrial and commercial electrical environments.Completion of an accredited Electrical Apprenticeship or Trade School Program.Existing safety and equipment certifications including OSHA, Fall Protection, and Aerial Lifts.Compensation & BenefitsWeekly pay cycle with potential for overtime and prevailing wage project rates.Annual bonus opportunity based on performance and company growth.Comprehensive health benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.Health Savings Account (HSA) option to manage medical expenses.Life and Disability Insurance coverage options.Paid Time Off including holiday, vacation, and sick leave.Provided company vehicle for job-related travel and field operations.Ongoing company-paid training and certifications including Manufacturer, OSHA, and Lift safety.About UsJMS Electrical & Mechanical Services LLC is a close-knit team specializing in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical and control systems.
