Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAECS Inc. is currently seeking a highly motivated qualified journeyman electrician for construction projects for long-term employment.
This position provides growth opportunities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Safety:
Knowledge of OSHA requirements and safe working procedures
Follows job site safety procedures.
Lay Out and Installation
Follows daily plans as described by the operation manager.
Reads blue prints, details and specifications for proper installation
Identifies material needed for assigned jobs and works with operation manager to obtain needed material in a timely manner.
Installs electrical systems per quality and NEC standards.
Diagnosis and reports electrical problems to operation manager.
Works independently
Uses hand tools and power tool appropriately
Productivity:
Maintains installation production targets
Relays progress to operation manager.
Coaches quality installation practices
Qualification:
Knowledgeable of the National Electric Code requirements
KNOWLEDGABLE IN RUNNING AND BENDING EMT & RIGID CONDUIT.
Knowledge of electrical material, components, equipment systems, layout and methods of installation
Must be able to read and interpret blue prints, one line diagrams, wiring diagram and written specifications.
Must provide their own transportation and hand tools
5 years experience in the electrical construction industry
