SUMMARY
This is an entry-level engineering position that is responsible for supporting manufacturing process improvement, the development and implementation of new processes, and providing technical support to ensure safe and efficient manufacturing processes that reduce waste. This position supports the senior Engineers and must collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production goals. Key Responsibilities include data collection and analysis, troubleshooting, process design support, continuous improvement projects. Ideal candidates have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from colleagues.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the implementation of process improvements and new process technologies.
Help develop new processes or modify existing ones to accommodate new products or production goals.
Assists the Engineering team with preparing project documentation, including process flow diagrams, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and technical reports.
Work with quality assurance teams to ensure processes meet regulatory and internal quality standards.
Assist Engineering teams with the development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to track process performance and quality metrics.
Support the installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment or technologies.
Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to troubleshoot process-related issues.
Participate in safety reviews and risk assessments.
Help in gathering and analyzing plant data for process optimization.
Ensure processes adhere to environmental and safety regulations.
Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to minimize hazards.
Work closely with vendors and contractors to ensure specifications and safety guidelines are met.
Train and develop production personnel on efficient process assembly techniques and equipment operations.
May perform other duties as required to support manufacturing.
