Job description

We are seeking a hands-on Jr. Project Manager to support a large, cross-functional Workday implementation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex work, keeping teams aligned, and helping projects move forward with clarity and momentum.

Responsibilities

Maintain the integrated project plan, key milestones, dependencies, and critical-path activities.

Coordinate daily project operations across HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Security, Data, Change Management, and implementation partner teams.

Schedule and lead project meetings, working sessions, status reviews, and decision-making forums.

Prepare agendas, capture action items and decisions, assign owners, and follow up to ensure completion.

Support project governance by maintaining status reports, dashboards, RAID logs, decision logs, and related documentation.

Track risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, and escalate concerns with clear context and recommendations.

Monitor workstream progress and help identify conflicts, resource constraints, and cross-functional blockers early.

Support activities related to requirements, design, configuration, data conversion, integrations, testing, training, deployment, and stabilization.

Coordinate testing schedules, defect tracking, readiness checkpoints, and deliverable reviews.

Partner with internal teams and the implementation partner to align responsibilities, timelines, and acceptance criteria.

Help translate discussions into concrete next steps, owners, and deadlines.

Support change-control activities and help assess the impact of scope, schedule, or resource changes.

Create concise communications for stakeholders and leadership.

Keep project records organized, current, and easy for teams to access.

Skills

2+ years of project management or closely related project delivery experience.

Experience supporting complex, cross-functional technology or enterprise SaaS implementations.

Experience working with internal stakeholders, external implementation partners, and software vendors.

Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, dependency management, status reporting, risk management, and meeting facilitation.

Ability to manage multiple workstreams and keep priorities organized.

Skilled at turning complex information into clear updates, decisions, and action plans.

Comfort using standard project management and collaboration tools.

Strong communication, coordination, and follow-through skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience supporting Workday implementations, deployments, or optimization efforts.

Familiarity with Workday project phases such as design, configuration, integrations, data conversion, testing, training, cutover, and stabilization.

Knowledge of HR, payroll, finance, or other enterprise business processes.

Experience using Monday.com and SharePoint for project coordination.

PMP, CAPM, Agile, or a similar project management certification.
