Remote People is partnering with a leading Am Law 20 law firm to identify a high-performing Junior Capital Markets Associate for its Los Angeles office.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Associate currently practicing in the Capital Markets or Corporate group of a peer BigLaw firm and looking to continue developing their career on sophisticated, high-value transactions.

What you'll work on
You will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of sophisticated capital markets and securities matters, including:
Initial public offerings (IPOs)
Follow‑on equity offerings
Block trades and at‑the‑market offerings
Investment‑grade debt offerings
High‑yield debt offerings
Public and private equity offerings
Private placements and investments
Tender offers and exchange offers
Consent solicitations and rights offerings
Spin‑offs, recapitalizations and restructurings
Public disclosure and corporate governance matters
The broader Capital Markets practice works with a diverse range of public and private companies, investment banks, private equity firms, REITs and other sophisticated institutional clients .
What we're looking for:
J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school
Preferably 2023, 2024 or 2025 law school graduate
Current or recent experience in the Capital Markets or Corporate practice of a peer BigLaw firm
Experience with equity and/or debt capital markets transactions
Strong academic credentials
Excellent analytical, writing and communication skills
Strong interest in sophisticated capital markets and securities transactions
Currently based in the Los Angeles area or willing to relocate
Available to start ASAP (within approximately 4–6 weeks preferred)
What’s offered
$225,000–$235,000 annual base salary
