Junior Collections SpecialistColossal Contracting, LLC is looking for a Junior Collections Specialist to support our accounts receivable team out of our newly opened St. Petersburg, FL office. This position will report to the Accounts Receivable Manager. This position is perfect for a self-directed individual looking to join a highly motivated team.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform collection inquiriesPosting Daily Cash ReceiptsProcess credit card payments and refundsResolving payment discrepancies and disputesPreparing reports on delinquent accounts and customer payment profilesAssist with completing customer/vendor required forms, including W-9 forms and credit applicationsPrepare Executive Expense ReportsAssist finance team and management with ad-hoc reportingAssist finance team with various projects as neededRequirements1-3 years' experience in general accounting, accounts receivable and/or collections.Associates Degree in accounting, finance, and/or business or equivalent work experienceKnowledge of Accounts Receivable and Collection practices.Ability to Research and Analyze Information.Must not be afraid to pick up the phone and make frequent collections calls.Preferred Education and ExperienceBachelors or Associates Degree in accounting, finance or businessExperience working with QuickBooks Enterprise SolutionsExperience working with SalesforceKnowledge and experience with Revenue RecognitionGenerally Tech Savvy, including proficiency in Excel and WebEx TeamsExposure to Government Contracting and various billing platformsTravelNone, this position will sit out of our St. Petersburg, FL office.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position, Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:30pm.Job Type:Full-timeBenefits Offered$18-22 hour pending candidate qualificationsPaid Time-Off100% Employer paid Health, Vision, Dental insurance for Employee401kColossal Contracting, LLC is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) who takes pride in supporting our CUSTOMERS and COUNTRY.
