We’ve provided design-build and design-bid-build construction services for more than four decades, responding to disasters and supporting military operations around the globe.Across the nation and around the globe, a few notable projects include the U.S. Coast Guard Maritime Patrol Hangar on Cape Cod; Security Barrier Systems, Lakenheath, England; Seismic Repairs, Alcatraz Island; Ahwahnee Hotel Restoration, Yosemite National Park; USCG Hurricane Repairs, San Juan, Puerto Rico; Air Force Academy Field House Renovation, Colorado Springs, CO; and multiple security upgrades for U.S. Embassies across the globe.As a Junior Cost Engineer at Perini Management Services, reporting to the Senior Cost Engineer, you will have the opportunity to:Description:Perform the Cost Accounting on domestic and overseas operations including but not limited to entering and maintaining budgets, preparing monthly contract projections,, processing employee reimbursements, processing vendor and subcontractor pay requests, and monthly billing for work performed (time and material billing).Assist with the monthly WIP revenue recognition process.Set up new jobs, cost codes, and budgets, and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis for Operations and/or Estimating on an as needed basis.Maintain and reconcile the Petty Cash accounts and other accounts as required.Resolve discrepancies on invoices or reports by interfacing with other departments, project controllers, construction, operations, vendors, and subcontractors.Assist with internal and external audits. REQUIREMENTS:This is an onsite role and is located in Framingham, MA4-year degree (or in the process of completing the degree)Construction accounting experience preferred but not requiredGood written and verbal communication skillsExcellent knowledge of Word and ExcelMust have strong organization and time management skills with the ability to work without distraction.Must be a team player and be motivated to learn with a strong desire to take on new challenges.Perini Management Services builds extraordinary projects, and we need exceptional talent.
