Role Overview
Help improve next-generation AI systems by applying your game development expertise to real-world interactive 3D development tasks. This remote contract role gives a junior developer the opportunity to contribute practical technical input that helps AI systems learn, reason, and perform in gaming environments. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
Use Python and C++ expertise to provide feedback on interactive game development tasks.
Review, critique, and recommend improvements to code samples and game logic using Panda3D.
Create domain-specific examples that strengthen AI understanding of current game development workflows.
Analyze practical issues involving game rendering, asset management, and gameplay mechanics.
Clearly document technical decisions and reasoning for AI training use.
Collaborate with a distributed team to provide high-quality real-world input for future AI technologies.
Take part in iterative feedback cycles that improve AI learning outcomes.
Qualifications
Hands-on Python programming experience, particularly in game development contexts.
Strong working knowledge of Panda3D and its use in building interactive 3D environments.
Familiarity with C++ and its integration with game engines.
Proficiency with GitHub for version control, code reviews, and collaboration.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
Strong attention to detail, practical problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience contributing to open-source projects or AI-related initiatives.
Knowledge of modern game development software practices and pipelines.
Work Terms
