Now Hiring: Justice Court ClerkOpenwork is hiring an organized and dependable Justice Court Clerk for a court office in Humble, TX 77388. This position supports daily court operations through accurate recordkeeping, document preparation, data entry, and professional customer service. Qualified candidates must have at least 1 year of computer and clerical experience and strong Microsoft Office skills. Previous legal, paralegal, court, or judicial experience is strongly preferred.Position at a GlanceLocation: Humble, TX 77388Pay: $15.01 per hour | Weekly PaySchedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PMLunch: 30-minute breakEmployment Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-HireWhat You'll Be Doing:Maintain court dockets, records, and files.Prepare correspondence and court-related documents.Coordinate court appearances and scheduling.Administer oaths as required.Enter and update information accurately in court records.Answer incoming calls and assist the public professionally.Prepare certified copies, reports, and other documentation.Maintain organized records and handle confidential information appropriately.Support additional clerical and court-related duties as needed.What You'll Need to Succeed:Minimum 1 year of computer and clerical experience — REQUIRED.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook — REQUIRED.1+ year of paralegal, legal, court, or judicial system experience — STRONGLY PREFERRED.Strong computer, typing, and data-entry skills.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Professional written and verbal communication.Ability to assist callers and members of the public courteously.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.Discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.Reliable attendance and a professional demeanor.Why Consider This Opportunity?$15.01 per hour | Weekly Pay.Consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule.Full-time hours.Contract-to-hire opportunity.Experience supporting court administration and judicial operations.Benefits Upon Permanent Hire:Pay increase upon conversion to permanent employment.Medical, dental, and vision insurance.Paid Time Off (PTO), vacation, and holidays.Retirement plan.Wellness program.Apply Today Candidates with clerical experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and an interest in court administration are encouraged to apply.
