Juvenile Correctional Officer 1 (Part - time) - Augusta YDC - Augusta, GA (FSC)Georgia State Government is a large enterprise, composed of various agencies and entities with a common goal to improve the lives of Georgia's more than 10 million citizens! Positions in this job are established for less than nine (9) months or scheduled for less than 30 hours per week and are not eligible for benefits if the position status is temporary.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:Monitors and provides immediate response to crises.On-site intervention for youthful offenders assigned to the institution.Enforces all institutional policies, rules, procedures, and regulations.Enforces rules, regulations, and state laws necessary for control and management of offenders and the maintenance of public safety.Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED AND Successful completion of Basic Law Enforcement training.Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
