Job description
As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you’ll serve full-time in a partner public school, providing individualized and small-group academic support in core subjects, fostering positive classroom behavior, and encouraging student engagement. Working closely with teachers and a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll track student progress, support attendance initiatives, and help create an inclusive, supportive learning environment. This role offers robust training, coaching, and leadership development while making a direct impact on students’ success and school climate.
