Job description
As an Academic Tutor and Mentor at City Year, you will support students’ academic and social-emotional growth in partnership with teachers in public schools. You will provide small-group and one-on-one tutoring in core subjects, track student progress, and help create an encouraging classroom environment. You’ll also mentor students, facilitate enrichment and after-school activities, and model positive behavior. Working within a collaborative, equity-focused culture, you will receive training, coaching, and professional development while making a meaningful impact on students’ success and school climate.
