Job description
As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you’ll serve full-time in a public school, providing academic support, mentoring, and positive encouragement to students. In partnership with teachers and a diverse team of AmeriCorps members, you’ll deliver small-group and one-on-one tutoring, support classroom activities, and help track students’ progress. You’ll also lead enrichment activities, model social-emotional skills, and build strong relationships with students and families.
