Job description
City Year seeks an Academic Tutor and Mentor to support student success in K-12 public schools. In this role, you’ll provide small-group and one-on-one tutoring in core subjects, reinforce classroom instruction, and track student progress. You will also serve as a mentor and role model, building strong relationships, promoting positive behaviors, and supporting students’ social-emotional growth. Working on a diverse team, you’ll collaborate with teachers, participate in school-wide initiatives, and engage in regular training focused on leadership, equity, and youth development.
