Job description
As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you will serve full-time in a public school, providing small-group and one-on-one tutoring in core subjects, supporting classroom instruction, and monitoring student progress. You will build positive relationships, coach social-emotional skills, and help create an inclusive, engaging learning environment. Working on a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll receive training, coaching, and leadership development while collaborating with teachers, families, and school staff to help students stay on track to graduate.
