Job description
As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you’ll serve full-time in a partner public school, providing small-group and one-on-one academic support, mentoring, and classroom assistance. You will track student progress, reinforce core subjects like math and literacy, and help build students’ confidence and engagement. Working on a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll collaborate with teachers, participate in training and professional development, and promote an inclusive, socially just learning environment while growing your leadership skills.
