Job description
As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year in the Education, Training & E-Learning department, you will support student success in partner public schools. In collaboration with teachers, you’ll provide small-group and one-on-one tutoring in core subjects, reinforce classroom lessons, track student progress, and encourage positive study habits. You’ll serve as a mentor and role model, building strong relationships that promote attendance, engagement, and social-emotional growth. At City Year, you’ll join a collaborative, inclusive culture focused on social justice, leadership development, and personal growth, with ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
