Job description
As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you’ll serve full-time in a partner public school, providing academic support, tutoring, and encouragement to help students stay on track to graduate. Working on a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll lead small-group and one-on-one tutoring sessions, support classroom instruction, and help build students’ social-emotional skills. You’ll collaborate with teachers, participate in data-informed planning, and engage families. City Year offers training, coaching, and a collaborative, inclusive environment focused on social justice, leadership development, and personal growth.
