Job description
As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year in the Educational Services industry, you will serve in K–12 classrooms to provide individualized and small-group academic support, focusing on literacy, math, and key learning skills. You’ll build positive relationships, mentor students in social-emotional growth, and track their progress using data and teacher feedback. Working within City Year’s collaborative, inclusive culture, you will partner closely with teachers and a diverse AmeriCorps team to deliver interventions, support after-school programming, and model leadership and service. This role offers training, professional development, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in schools every day.
