Job description
Make a meaningful impact by supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school levels as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. This role offers the opportunity to provide speech and language services to learners in grades K-12, close to the Reading, PA area. You'll collaborate with other educational professionals to foster a positive and productive environment, ensuring students reach their communication and learning goals.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Hold a current SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Pennsylvania
Experience working with children in grades K-12, particularly within a school setting
Strong communication and organization skills
Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Adaptability to work with diverse student populations and needs
Key Responsibilities: Conduct screening, evaluations, and assessments for students with speech and language concerns
Develop and implement treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals
Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to share progress and strategies
Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
Participate in IEP meetings, offering recommendations and expertise
