Job description
Masa is seeking a highly qualified K–5 Literacy Specialist to assess literacy, develop tailored plans, and train staff and volunteers for Masa’s programs in the South Bronx. The role emphasizes human-to-human instruction and culturally responsive practices, serving ELLs and students with IEPs.
The position is part-time, 20–30 hours weekly, in-person, 2:30–7:30 pm Monday–Thursday, through March 31, 2026, with potential extension. A strong background in literacy education is required.
