K-8 Band and Music Teacher
Setting: Healthcare Facilities
Job Type: Contract - Full Time
Pay: $40 / Hour
Hours: 35.00
Location: Tenants Harbor, ME
The K–5 General Education Teacher provides instruction,classroom management, and student support in accordance with state standards,district policies, and school expectations.The General Education Teacher creates a safe, inclusive, and engaginglearning environment that fosters academic growth, social–emotionaldevelopment, and positive behavior. TheGeneral Education Teacher collaborates with school staff, families, and AmergisEducational Staffing to ensure high-quality educational services for students in kindergarten through fifth grade.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited universitypreferred
Valid state teaching license and/or certificate/endorsementas required by state
Minimum of one year experience in teaching environmentpreferred
State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard ElementaryTeaching preferred
State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teachingpreferred
Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
Current CPR if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Ability to comply with FERPA and HIPPA requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
