Job description

FEDERAL WORK STUDY 2026 & 2027 ACADEMIC YEAR

KENNEDY-KING COLLEGE

City Colleges of Chicago (CCC), the largest community college system in Illinois, is made up of seven colleges and five satellite sites, providing more than 70,000 students each year access to a quality, affordable education.

The Federal Work Study Program (FWS) is a federally funded financial aid program that offers part-time employment to eligible students to help meet educational and living expenses. CCC adheres to the U.S. Department of Education's regulations and proudly provides students with the opportunity to earn while they learn.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

The FWS program at Kennedy-King College encourages students to gain real-world experience-ideally in roles related to their academic or career interests-by working in on campus departments or at approved off-campus community service sites. Students receive hourly wages for their work, which can help reduce out-of-pocket educational costs. Working in the FWS Program isn't just a paycheck-it's a chance to grow, build your resume, and become part of the Kennedy-King campus community in a meaningful way.

For the academic year, we're excited to offer a wide range of FWS job opportunities in departments such as:

Reprographics

Student Services

Access Center

Athletics

Career & Transfer Center

Admissions & Enrollment Management

Healthy Student Market

Academic Advising

Whether you're looking to build professional skills, explore career paths, or just gain solid work experience, we have a place for you!
