Kettle CoordinatorKettle Coordinator is responsible for performing daily tasks necessary for running the Red Kettle CampaignEssential Functions:Recruiting and signing up volunteer bell ringers & groups and establishing dates, times and locationsContacting via phone or email volunteer bell ringers to schedule ringing timesManaging campaign website for volunteer sign-ups (if applicable)Responsible for sorting kettle money with volunteers per applicable guidelinesResponsible for transferring money to bank for processing per applicable guidelinesDrop off and pick up kettlesPromote bell ringing opportunities in the communityMake copies of checks dropped in kettles and get them to Field RepWeekly report to Field Rep of deposits made (every Monday or Tuesday)Responsible for calling established bell ringing sites the first week of November to ask permission to ring & start date and discuss any concerns the managers may have (Field Rep will contact Walmart stores)Minimum Qualifications:The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required for this position.Education: N/ACertifications: Valid driver's license with approval to drive from TSA's insurance carrier required.Experience: Dealing with people in a customer service or sales roleThe Salvation Army is an equal opportunity employer.
