Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.QualificationsAdministrative or Logistical Management ExperienceMust be flexible and able to work in a highly fluid and stressful environment.Excellent knowledge of and ability to use current Microsoft software computer programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher, as well as e-mail, Adobe Acrobat and the internetAbility to learn and utilize The Salvation Army Kettle Management Software ProgramAbility to create and manage schedules.Excellent interpersonal, telephone and communication skills, both written and verbalExcellent detail, organization and file management skillsAbility to work in a team setting with other professionalsAbility to maintain a self-motivated and self-directed schedule, address multiple projects in a timely manner and take projects from beginning through completionAbility to work with people of diverse backgrounds and circumstancesMust possess a valid Nevada driver's license and pass a motor vehicle record checkMust be able to pass a criminal background checkResponsibilitiesAssist with the onboarding of seasonal bell ringers/Christmas AmbassadorsCoordinate, schedule and seek out volunteers and service clubs for various locationsParticipate in training, of bell ringers and drivers.Work closely with volunteer coordinator to ensure accurate scheduling of volunteers at the times they are available.Responsible for creating daily and weekly schedules for all bell ringers/Christmas Ambassadors and ensuring they all receive their weekly schedule the week before.Identify new and existing and kettle sites, ensuring all the correct paper work is secured, including property manager approvals and insurance certificates.Assist in meeting with store managers working out details for scheduling, special needs, stand storage, etc.Work with the volunteer coordinator and PR to schedule special bell ringing events for groups such as businesses, service clubs, churches and schools.Review daily reports making appropriate management decisions based on the data.Responsible for the distribution of bells, aprons and or jackets to bell ringersResponsible for the collection of kettles at the end of each shiftCollect and verify time sheetsEnter time sheets in for processingFile time sheets.Distribute pay checks when receivedEnsure the return of all Salvation Army owned property at the end of the seasonOther duties, as assignedThis position has access to confidential and private information.
