Key Holder Full-TimeShavertown, Pennsylvania RetailPosition Summary:A Shift Supervisor is a sales associate who has additional leadership responsibilities beyond typical sales or service tasks. The Shift Supervisor assists the store manager and assistant store manager with the opening and closing of the store. This includes supervising staff with daily opening duties and nightly closing duties and preparing the store for the next day's business.Major Responsibilities:Provide a positive representation of Gerrity's Ace HardwareProactively greet and assist customers in solving problemsForward any customer complaint that cannot be handled to a member of managementAssist with opening & closing of the store while overseeing staffAssist customers throughout the store with personal, customized service based on the premise of amazing every customer, every timeAssist with receiving, checking in and stocking of merchandise throughout the storeAssist with daily maintenance, orderliness and cleanliness of the sales floor, stock room and outdoor merchandise areaAssist with merchandise resets through the storePossess strong product knowledge and knowledge of store layout and location of productsMaintain awareness of all promotions and advertisementsPerform all other duties as assignedMinimum Requirements:Minimum of 2 years previous experience in retailHigh School or GED equivalentExcellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situationsStrong problem-solving and organizational skillsAbility and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the businessPhysical Requirements:Employee must regularly move and/or lift 50lbsAbility to read, write, analyze, interpret and understand the English language with sufficient proficiency in order to read and understandWhile performing the duties, the employee is regularly required to stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balanceSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, and color vision with the ability to adjust focusFull-Time Benefits:Health InsurancePrescription PlanDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsuranceShort Term DisabilityPersonal Time Off (PTO)401(K) with Match and Profit SharingEmployee DiscountCompetitive WagesAdvancement OpportunitiesCompany Introduction:Gerrity's Ace Hardware was started in 2020 by Gerrity's Supermarket Owner, Joe Fasula.
