Job Description
The Key Lead is responsible for ensuring all customers receive a quality in‑store experience by acting as the Floor Supervisor, providing guidance and coaching to Brand Reps and Stock Associates, and ensuring store operations run effectively. The Key Lead is part of the store leadership team and drives store performance on the floor through customer experience and achieving daily sales.
What You’ll Do
Perform opening and closing routines.
Operate register/point‑of‑sale systems.
Fulfill OMNI Channel orders.
Demonstrate product knowledge, brand awareness, and drive sales.
Build and maintain visual displays.
Analyze reporting to inform decision making.
Protect store assets and maintain inventory control.
Represent the brand and exemplify company culture and values.
Work Schedule Requirements
Schedule will vary weekly; expect at least 12‑16 hours per week, including availability on Saturdays, Sundays, and certain holidays. During peak timeframes, hours will increase to support business needs.
What It Takes
High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred, or equivalent.
1 year of retail experience preferred.
Retail supervisory/management experience not required.
Experience leading groups or teams preferred.
Strong customer focus and exceptional interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of current fashion trends.
Energetic, outgoing, and assertive.
Initiative, confidence, adaptability, and flexibility.
Ability to balance multiple tasks while being detail‑oriented.
Strong work ethic.
Benefits & Compensation
Starting rate: $18.70 per hour. The rate and range may be modified in the future. As an Abercrombie & Fitch Co. associate, you are eligible for a variety of benefit programs that fit your lifestyle.
