Now Hiring: Studio General Manager | Kidcreate Studio Greater Heights (Houston, TX)
Kidcreate Studio Greater Heights is one of the top-performing studios in the Kidcreate Studio network, offering art classes, camps, parties, and community programs for kids ages 18 months to 12 years. We're looking for an experienced, people-first leader to run day-to-day operations and help us continue to grow.
About the Role
The Studio General Manager leads all studio operations, including enrollment growth, marketing, team leadership, customer experience, and program delivery. This is a full-time, in-studio position reporting directly to ownership.
What You'll Do
-Lead a team of 10–20 art instructors, key holders, and support staff
-Own the full hiring process, including recruiting, interviewing, and selecting top talent
-Oversee training and onboarding so new team members are confident, consistent, and brand-ready
-Manage team performance through feedback, coaching, evaluations, and corrective action
-Build staff schedules and support ongoing team development and retention
-Drive enrollment and retention across classes, camps, memberships, and parties
-Plan and manage social media content
-Coordinate local advertising and promotional campaigns to drive new enrollment
-Prospect new business, including school, community, and corporate partnerships
-Own the customer experience, from first inquiry to long-term family relationships
-Oversee program quality, studio standards, and safety
-Manage payroll inputs, inventory, and daily operations
-Track key performance metrics and partner with ownership on goals and growth strategy
-Support community partnerships and off-site programming
What We're Looking For
-3+ years of management experience in youth enrichment or a similar enrollment-based business (e.g., kids' activities, tutoring, dance, gymnastics, swim, or camps)
-Proven experience leading a team of 10–20 employees
-Hands-on experience hiring, training, and managing employee performance
-A track record of growing enrollment and retaining families
-Experience with social media marketing, local advertising, and business development or prospecting
-Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
-Comfort with scheduling software, CRM, Canva, Google Drive/Sheets, email
-Availability for weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends as needed
-A genuine passion for kids, creativity, and building a positive team culture
