Job description
Child Development Assistant IUnder the direction of the Director of Student and Family Services, provide quality child care and a safe and nurturing environment for infant and toddler-aged children in a designated child care center or program; assist the teacher with implementing a variety of activities to meet the needs and interests of the children. The Child Development Assistant I classification provides classroom support to a teacher in an infant and toddler-aged classroom environment. Incumbents assist with various student needs in relation to the age of the children, including assisting with basic feeding and diapering/toileting.Requirements / QualificationsLetter of IntroductionLetter(s) of Reference (2-3 letters of reference dated within the last two years)Proof of HS Graduation (HS Diploma, GED or equivalent or college transcripts)ResumeComments and Other InformationCandidates will work with school aged students before and after school. Fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and/or FBI, proof of being cleared of Tuberculosis are required prior to starting employment.
