Job description

We are seeking an experienced Kinaxis Data Migration Engineer with 8–10 years of experience in data migration, supply chain systems, data analysis, and enterprise data integration. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of supply chain planning processes, data structures, master data management, and Kinaxis RapidResponse/Maestro, with hands-on experience in data profiling, mapping, transformation, validation, and migration activities.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze source systems and identify data required for migration into Kinaxis.

Understand supply chain business processes, data flows, and Kinaxis data model requirements.

Develop and maintain source-to-target data mappings, transformation rules, and business requirements.

Translate business and migration requirements into detailed technical specifications.

Perform data profiling, data quality assessments, gap analysis, and source-system analysis.

Identify data dependencies, ownership, hierarchies, relationships, and governance requirements.

Work with business stakeholders and technical teams to resolve data mapping and quality issues.

Validate migrated data through reconciliation, testing, and data-quality checks.

Support SIT, UAT, mock migrations, cutover, and go-live activities.

Troubleshoot migration issues and perform root-cause analysis across migration cycles.

Collaborate with ETL/Data Engineering teams on extraction, transformation, and loading activities.

Support data integration using SQL, APIs, ETL processes, and enterprise integration technologies.

Ensure migrated data meets business, technical, security, privacy, and governance standards.

Create and maintain migration documentation, data dictionaries, mapping specifications, transformation rules, and validation documents.

Track migration defects and coordinate with relevant teams through resolution.

Participate in migration planning, status reviews, issue resolution, and stakeholder meetings.

Required Qualifications

8–10 years of experience in data migration, data integration, data engineering, or related roles.

Strong understanding of supply chain planning and enterprise data structures.

Hands-on experience with Kinaxis RapidResponse/Maestro or comparable supply chain planning platforms.

Strong understanding of master data management and supply chain master data.

Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.

Experience with data profiling, cleansing, transformation, reconciliation, and validation.

Working knowledge of ETL concepts, APIs, and system integrations.

Experience developing source-to-target mappings and technical data specifications.

Experience supporting SIT, UAT, mock migrations, cutover, and production go-live.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional business and technical teams.
